What's the First Thing That I Need to Know About SEO?

So many people enter the world of SEO, and wonder how difficult it is. It's not like the good old days when all you had to do was put up the site, and you didn't have to worry about traffic. It would just magically happen. Sadly, that's not the way it works anymore. It seems like everybody and their brother has a a website nowadays. There is no getting around it. If you want a site to get traffic, you are going to have to put both time and effort to get high search engine rankings, and in turn get the traffic you need. You can start with a program called Linkvana, whose links pack a lot more punch than traditional article directories. Instead of the getting links from the same site like you would with an article directory, Linkvana allows you to get them from a variety of blogs, domains, and IP addresses.

Backlinking is Not for the Lazy

I know people look at PPC such as Google Adwords as an expensive way to get traffic, but I must say that the alternative of SEO can also be very costly. In order for SEO to work, you are going to have to either spend a lot of money or time generating backlinks. For example, a service like Linkvana will cost you approximately $147 a month. I know that seems like a lot but if you have good on-page SEO, then the benefits outweigh the cost of the service. All you need is that one site that really pops with the public. Then you can outsource all of your link building, and just focus on building great sites with interesting content. Nobody said having multiple websites would be easy. It's a business just like any other. The more you put into it, the more you are going to get out of it.
